The girl in the photo is my cousin, I was so excited when she asked me to do her engagement photos. She and her sweet fiance' were so wonderful, despite ALL the places I dragged them to for good shots. It was well worth it...tons of great images. I'm so happy for you Jodi. But we had just as much fun as it looks like. I brought the little lizard out and little M thought that was the coolest thing. I wish I could take credit for the huge wide open mouth laughs, but it was the lizard. Little M is all boy and was so much fun.

Thank you to all who signed up for the mini photo shoots. I was so flattered that so many were interested. I had so much fun getting to know your kids and I hope it was a good experience for them, too. I'm sorry for the wait. It has been a crazy couple of weeks...father's day and youth conference took a lot of my time. I also had to replace my computer so editing photos had to wait. I'm finally getting to the photo's and I've got the first 4 shoots done. I'm so happy with how they all turned out. I would call every shoot a complete success!! I should have the remainder done by the end of next week. Here's a couple from the first 3 and of course...many more to come.

I am so lucky! Look at these two GORGEOUS families I got to have a photo shoot with. I had butterflies as I downloaded the photos onto my laptop and viewed the pictures. (It's one of my favorite parts of photography and I had a huge smile the whole time. I knew we had "got the shots".) *There's many many more to come. * I just couldn't wait to start posting these of her. This was a two part session, which worked out really well. I like the two part sessions and they are essential sometimes. Kids are done having their picture taken a lot sooner than I'm done taking their picture. I never want to push them so with this sweetie I went back the second day and she was ready to go. She was energetic, happy and pretty use to me, which makes the pictures more genuine to their personalities. My goal is to capture their true personality. She was so silly and just soaked in all the attention from the shoot. She had so much fun and we were all giggling. Love it, Love it, Love it!!!

For those of you that might think photographing babies is easy, it's not. But I have to say I think it's my favorite. My friend gave me the opportunity to take some of her precious little girl. This little darling was so patient with me. I loved how the pictures turned out and snuggin' her between backdrop and clothes changes was so fun. My only regret is that the photos don't portray how teenie tiny she is. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

McDreamy is the best the way to describe this sweeties eyes. SO dreamy! In fact when I started the shoot I asked his Mom if he had just woken up. She said no, his eyes are always dreamy. I love it. Such a darling little boy. His big brother is just as darling. Can you believe that curly blond hair? Absolutely gorgeous! He was so fun. So full of energy. Once he warmed up, we took turns taking the picture. I would pose for him and his little camera and then he would pose for me. So much fun! I think we have a future photographer on our hands. I love these pictures.
